Product Specs

The Agri Drain Water Gate Valve is a fully automatic, float-operated valve that manages subsurface drainage for precise Variable Rate Drainage®. Operating in free-flow or managed-flow mode, it works with a Water Level Control Structure to back water into the system and maintain consistent water elevations—enhancing soil health, efficiency, and crop performance.

  • Manages subsurface drain tiles up to 10" in diameter and maintains a 1-foot water elevation difference between the upstream and downstream sides.
  • Infinitely variable.
  • Completely buried to allow for convenient field operations.
  • Installation using flexible couplers on the upstream and downstream sides is recommended.
  • Valve is not pressure rated.
  • Valve is intended for gravity flow: Low pressure and some seepage may occur.*

*To minimize seepage, we recommend installing 20' of non-perforated pipe on the upstream side of the Water Gate, or using an Anti-Seep Collar below the Water Gate.
